Kick off meeting The Maltby Food Bank is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help plan this year’s charity fundraiser. The kickoff meeting for volunteers will be held on Wednesday, March 11 starting at 6 p.m. at the Maltby Cafe with an opportunity to meet auctioneer Kevin Van Hollebeke.
The auction committee is looking for help with planning the fall auction, which includes work on decorations, invitations, donation procurement, data entry, graphic design, marketing, sponsorships, and much more. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the Maltby Food Bank while having fun working together with neighbors. The level of commitment is up to the volunteer; any amount of time and energy offered will be greatly appreciated. The Maltby Food Bank’s previous auctions have been successful events attended by business owners and community members enjoying good food, spirited bidding, and many laughs. This year’s fundraiser will be held on Sept. 12 at the Golf Club at Echo Falls.
Accepting Donations The auction committee is accepting donated items for the silent and live auctions. If you have an item or service or adventure you would like to donate, please download and complete the Procurement Form. If donating an item, it can be dropped off at the Food Bank on Tuesday mornings or on Thursdays. You can also contact auction chair, Kristine Willson (206-854-1182, email@example.com) to coordinate delivery options.
Sponsorship opportunities There are many opportunities for sponsorship of the Maltby Food Bank charity auction event.
With your generous donations, we have been able to help the elderly and over 175 families in our community. Our goal this year is to raise over $60,000.00 to enable us to provide fresh produce to our clients year round and continue providing those items that food stamps do not buy.

Please continue the tradition this year by donating items, services, or cash toward the cause of supporting those in need who surround us. All donating companies will be acknowledged in our auction catalog.
We have sponsorship opportunities for all levels ranging $5,000 which includes 16 tickets to the event and 6 bottles of wine to enjoy with your dinner, to $800.00 for Silent Auction Table Sponsorship which includes 2 event tickets. Here is a link to our Sponsorship Benefits.
You can also support the Food Bank by advertising in the auction catalog. Space is available to you at a cost of $200 for a quarter page color advertisement. The catalog is distributed to all of the auction attendees. All sponsors are listed on our website as supporters of the Maltby Food Bank.
